Event-driven research for investment teams
The world moves. Understand the impact.
Trace global events through sectors to company supply chains. One connected path from the headline to the business.
Start with the event. Follow the impact.
Three layers of intelligence. One thread from the world to the business.
- Impact Brief. Know what changed. Start with the event, its context, and the sectors that deserve your attention.
- Sector Intelligence. Find where it matters. Follow the industry implications and narrow your research to the companies involved.
- Company Intelligence. Understand the connections. Explore suppliers, customers, and the disclosures behind each business relationship.
The interactive example follows an illustrative chip supply disruption into semiconductor sector questions and company relationships. It is a demonstration, not a current event or forecast.
The reasoning. And the receipts.
Go beyond the summary. See where an event came from, why it matters, and what a company actually disclosed.
- The original event: source, context, and timing.
- The transmission channel: reasoning from the event to the industry, distinct from observed facts.
- The business relationship: filing text behind a supplier or customer connection, with disclosure context.
Start with your team. And the questions you follow.
Bring your market universe and research process. We will define a focused research pilot around your coverage, delivery, and evaluation requirements. Pricing tailored to your scope. Partner delivery can be scoped for brokers and fintechs.
Frequently asked questions
Who is Wintel built for?
Investment teams, research desks, and financial businesses investigating how world events connect to sectors and companies. We also work with brokers and fintechs to scope partner delivery.
Which markets and companies are covered?
Coverage varies by research layer. Sector intelligence centers on supported US sectors, while event analysis includes selected international baskets. Company relationships depend on available filings. We confirm the end-to-end coverage for your team's universe when scoping a pilot.
How current is the analysis?
News ingestion, impact analysis, and company filings refresh on different schedules. Threat ingestion runs roughly every 15 minutes; impact analysis can be cached for up to 24 hours. Filing-derived relationships reflect the underlying disclosure, rather than a live supplier feed.
Where do supply-chain relationships come from?
Wintel extracts commercial relationships from company filings, including customer and supplier disclosures. The graph retains supporting text and distinguishes self-disclosed relationships from those found in counterparty filings. It is a view of available disclosures, not a complete supply-chain inventory.
Can our team share or integrate the research?
Tell us how your team needs to use the output. We scope sharing, delivery, and integration requirements as part of a pilot, including partner use inside a broker or fintech product.
